What to Expect.
Please wear whatever will be comfortable to move around in. Yoga clothes are not necessary. Bring a mat, or rent one of ours. A water bottle is also helpful. We do not sell water, but do have a cooler to refill yours. Our studio is not heated, but feel free to bring a towel if you would like.
There are multiple places to park. Metered street parking along Plainfield is an especially good option for early morning, evening, and weekend classes, as meters are not enforced at these times (read: free to park). Other options include the free public parking lots off Quimby (behind the brewery east of Plainfield, or behind Culver CPA west of Plainfield), and free on-street parking on Coit (the street behind the studio). See a map of the options here.
Walk in the front door (or, if you're running a few minutes late, please walk down the alley to the back. If more than 5 minutes late, please consider another class). You'll be greeted by the teacher or check-in staff, and sign in for class. This can be as simple as giving your last name, or, if it's your first time at the studio, providing additional information and signing a waiver. Payment is necessary at this point.
Please remove your shoes as you come in. In the back of the studio, you'll find cubbies for your shoes as well as your personal items. Coats go on the rack.
Grab a block (or two) from the wall on the side of the studio. Set up your mat (if you need to rent one, simply let the staff know at check-in).
Enjoy your class!
Feel free to let the staff know if you have any questions.
