I’ve been a fan of movement since childhood. As a former dancer, I found yoga in 2016 while looking for a way to increase movement in my life and calm my mind. I primarily teach slower paced vinyasa style classes, so linking breath to movement. I really enjoy teaching slow flow and restorative classes as well. I completed my 200 hr yoga teacher training in 2019. Later that year, I completed the Planting Seeds of Wellness in Youth yoga, mindfulness, and social emotional learning teacher training through Well Bean. I'm also certified in Mindfulness 101. I teach yoga because it allows me to connect with other humans. I’m a big people person, and I love being able to connect with others through group based classes. I also really enjoy the sense of calm I, and my students, tend to receive after a class. Such a great feeling! I feel strongly that yoga is for everyone: every body, every mind, every human. My classes always include options for all.
When I’m not teaching yoga, you can find me on a hike, seeing a concert, spending time with my fiancé, enjoying a craft beverage, or acting as a Postpartum and Infant care doula. Can’t wait to see you on your mat!
