I found yoga by accident when I wandered into a class at my local gym 15 years ago and I’ve been practicing ever since. Yoga has helped me discover my physical strength, manage my anxiety, and make friends with my body. I teach slower-paced vinyasa style classes where poses are held for a few breaths so we can settle into the benefits of the posture. I love teaching those who are newer to yoga and I offer many variations and modifications so students can find the options that work best for them.
I’ve been teaching yoga for about a year and I’ve been a social worker at D.A. Blodgett- St. John’s for the past 13 years. I spend my free time raising teenagers and honeybees.
